Time to Order Uniforms

Hi everyone,

It's now time to order a uniform for the 2022 season if you need one.

As a reminder, if you played last season and still have your uniform and it still fits, you do not need to order a new one. Please do review the link below to confirm that we have your number correct as I'm assuming some parents did not list uniform numbers from last season and we are trying to avoid having multiple players on the same team wear the same number.

You will need a new uniform if:

a. Your old one doesn't fit, or you lost it, or the dog ate it
b. You are moving up from grade 2 to grade 3
c. This is your first season

Ordering Process - Please Read Carefully (even if you are not ordering):
1. Review this link to get your official jersey number for the 2022 season. Again, this list was generated based on your registration information, and we are trying to avoid having multiple players on the same team have the same number. You will need your jersey number when you order. Please note that some numbers have been changed over the last few days as more parents have shared numbers from last year, so be sure to look at this list for final number assignment. If you missed the last couple of emails on this and find an error (like you have a jersey already but didn't add the number during registration and really don't want to buy yet another youth sports jersey) I will try to accommodate any changes that need to be made, but it gets complicated quickly once people start ordering to change numbers.

2. Once you have your jersey number, visit our online store at:
https://teams.powelllacrosse.com/parkwaylacrosse/shop/home

If you have questions about sizes, we would recommend ordering a size up.

3. Grades 1 and 2 should order an Icon Practice Pinnie. You do not need to order shorts or a shooting shirt, though you are welcome to if you wish. Also, for returning players in this age group, if you still have your jersey and didn't register the number when you signed up, please don't worry about the assigned number too much - though do let me know so I can update records. We're less concerned with repeat numbers for the younger players.

4. Grades 3-8 should order a Trailblazer jersey and Icon shorts. You do not need to order a shooting shirt, but it is included in the store for those that are interested.

Importantly, the store closes on January 31st. After this deadline you will not be able to order a uniform for the upcoming season.

Important: New Standards for Chest Protection

For the 2022 season there is a new requirement that shoulder pads (boys) and goalie chest protectors (for both boys and girls) must meet NOCSAE standard ND200.

  • Effective January 1, 2022, shoulder pads for boys’ field players must be designed for lacrosse and meet NOCSAE standard ND200.
  • Effective January 1, 2021, boys' and girls' goalie chest protectors must be designed for lacrosse and meet the NOCSAE standard ND200.
  • All chest protectors and shoulder pads must contain the NOCSAE logo and SEI certification mark on both the packaging and the product to be legal for play.

You can read more about this change here: https://www.usalacrosse.com/lacrosse-chest-protector-faq
